About the Articulate Hand
The Articulate Hand is the perfect bridge between the lay person and the professional. For the former it provides a fascinating insight into neurology; for the latter it puts flesh on the dry bones of theory. By mixing live performance with interviews, recordings, old movie clips and original music, Andrew Dawson weaves a tissue of empathy between the audience and those who have lost a means of communicating with the world around them through their hands and reminds us all of skills we take for granted and yet can so easily lose.
Performed by Andrew Dawson,
Music Composed by Jonny Pilcher,
Directed by Martin Lloyd-Evans.
